“ Excellent service and good gluten free options available.....including dessert. I had gluten free fish and chips and the poached pear for dessert and a gluten free beer. ”
“ Perfect location to take in the stunning scenery. Service was excellent, and staff were very friendly and helpful . Only stopped for cocktails , but will endeavour to return to try the exciting menu on offer. Dog friendly , which is always a plus ”
“ What a place. First of all the location. Perfect to overlook holy isle just off Arran. Not too far from Brodick for the ferry back to the mainland. It is picture perfect, I'd imagine it's still good even if it rains. Now the food. I had the scallops in a cauliflower puree and chorizo crumb. The scallops were cooked perfectly and a great taste. Even though I do not like cauliflower normally, this was nice so had no issues. Had with it a beautiful provence rose. Next course sirloin steak with chips, peppercorn sauce and a side order of onion rings. The steak was cooked to my liking, it had been seasoned perfectly. The chips were very chunky with on part having the skin on. Beautiful. The peppercorn sauce was amazing. One of the best peppercorn sauces I've had. But the onion rings were just immense. The onion inside wasn't slimy at all but the batter was just wow. If there is such a word as crunchability then these get 20 out of 10. Even on the next table you could hear the crunches as they ate theirs. Had this with a beautiful rioja The dessert I had was a lemon and elderflower Eton mess with a ginger crunch and poached rhubarb. I never heard of such a combination, but again wow. Amazing. All in all 10 out of 10, location, food and staff. Definitely will be back if ever up in that area of Scotland ”
“ Absolutely gorgeous food. First time I came I just had a burger, it was very tasty, but second time I came I had the slow cooked pork belly and it blow my socks off. Amazing food and very friendly staff. Great location also with views of the water and holy isle. If I could give it more stars I would. ”
“ Thank you Drift Inn for accommodating us for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. The Langoustines were exquisite. The staff were second to none. The views were just amazing. As ever, visiting Arran is always a wonderful experience, can’t wait until the next time. ”
“ Gorgeous Valentine's Day meal with my hubby Steve. Sirloin were good quality and perfectly cooked. Sharing platter of desserts were amazing, so much so that I forgot to take a photo! Will definitely be back to sample other foodie delights! ”
“ Lovely evening meal here. The staff were great, really helpful and made a fuss of our dogs, bringing them water and treats. Lovely view out to Holy Island. Great vegan options- The vegan meat feast pizza was fab! ”
“ An exceptional restaurant. The food was incredibly good. We had Scallops, and Crayfish and Langoustine Cocktail for starter and Mussels and Sirloin Steak for main course. Everything was brilliant. Really can't fault the food here. The place was very busy, but our only small note is that their business left the service a little short. Mains arrived while starter plates were still on our table. Drinks ordered when our mains arrived didn't arrive until we had finished our mains and prompted the waiting staff for them. Highly recommend, quality of food and reasonable pricing exceptional. ”
